I've decided to make this blog in English as it feels more free. That was liberating. But still, I'm not sure what to write about in this blog. I just wanna share things and have my own place here, online. Many advice to have a niche, something to focus on writing. What I do is, I just write about random and different subjects. I have a lot of interests and I wanna share them all. So, that's why I call this blog a personal one.
It takes courage just to put yourself out there, bare. It feels good to be just yourself, without needing any confirmation. We've come to a time that everyone tastes the freedom of being themselves, whether it's accepted or not. And that's beautiful. Peace within definetely is healthy both for persons and the society, whether it's recognized or not. This process is sometimes painful, because of good old stupid patriarchy. But the good thing is those are no longer secrets. For example, sexual choices, being homofile, transgender and similar hidden choices. And of course, gotta mention that being a woman can still cause problems in many parts of the world. That makes half of the world's population. Isn't that crazy??
It's good to chill and let people be. It's nobody's business what people do with themselves as long as there's no harm to others. So I simply don't get it when people get nosy in others business. Seeing others less then human because of how they are or what they are is simple unacceptable.
I will be myself in this blog and won't hesitate that a second. Where I am, they try their best to carve everyone the same just to profit out of it. But people also have a say in that, that is if they realize. And I do too. I'm happy to be myself and share it with the internet. Some may be arrogant and think it's their place to judge when you open up, but that's also your choice to let it in or not. I like to see the positive things in life, and get happy when we are generous with happiness and making each other happy, and being kind to one another. I appreciate good things in life, and let go of the bad moments & memories I have.
I will write up my story here, soon. I think it'll take some time but will be worth it. I never really talk about myself and am a rather private person even tho I'm not socially awkward. Although I've been socially awkward before, as you'll read in the story when I finish it up 😅
One step at a time..

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream for Dry Skin
So I ran out of my La Roche Posay moisturizers and needed a substitute moisturizer. Ran into this one at the grocery store. It has hyaluronic acid, which is known to keep moisture in. But the thing with hyaluronic acid is that if you're in a dry area then the moisture will be drawn from your skin. Gotta keep that in mind when purchasing creams/lotions with this ingredient. But when you use it after you wash your face it'll trap the moisture in.
The consistency, as it is stated on the package, is somewhere between gel and cream. The moisture I get from this cream is good. But in the middle of the day I feel my skin losing the flexibility so then I reapply it even if it's for dry skin. So because of this I wouldn't go for this cream again. But if you have normal skin then it can be a perfect one for you as it's a good budget cream.

Best moisturizer; La Roche-Posay Hydreane Riche
I've had a problematic skin that I've come to embrace through the years. You can find my story on Roaccutane in this blog. Now after I've done Roaccutane, I now have normal to dry skin. And I'm telling you, this skin requires a lot of moisture. Or else, it'll get tight and even flaky. I've tried a lot of moisturizers but this one is the most simple yet the best working one.
It's more useful to get a rich moisturizing cream, since you can always decide how much moisture you want out of it. When you have a light moisturizer it can only go so far with moisturizing effect, unless you use up the whole tube for rich moisturizing effect.
This cream is not cheap but not too expensive either. Since you can get light moisture or a lot of moisture from this cream I think it's a good investment for your skin. It never made me break out or give me any skin issuess so this is my favorite one.

Is being a blogger hard?
Simply, no. What's good about blogging is that you get to create content just about anything for people to look at if they want. You may think it's too difficult to be a blogger but what's hard is gaining popularity and audience. You can still write blogs without having many people who read it. If being popular while blogging is goal then you have to give some effort to networking and interacting with other bloggers and all. Narrowing down your topics to write in would also increase your chances with gaining popularity. But all in all it's up to you want you want with your blog. Not everyone who write expect to be popular, in fact just sharing what you wanna share would make you happy too. In most cases being popular takes a while anyway. I hope that thinking it's too hard to blog doesn't stop anyone from writing.
Amazon Kindle 8th Generation (2016) Review
If I had all the books I read in the usual book format I probaby would have hard time traveling around and having the books I want with me. That's why e-book readers come in handy. So I bought myself, better late than never, Amazon Kindle 8th Generation.
The thing I like the most about it is that it's daylight readable. The screen doesn't reflect light but rather absorbs it so no problem reading it in daylight. Feels almost like a real book.
As you see, it's a pretty mat looking screen. The moment I got this by the cargo I knew I should've gotten it earlier.
This is the back of the package it came in. Says a bit about it's properties. It's good that unlike phones, iPads or laptops it's battery lasts for weeks. I usuallly have it in airplane mode so that I make the most out of the battery. You can connect to WIFI and buy books straight through the kindle, but in my opinion it's just not practical. You can just shop on your computer faster and then transfer it to your kindle. Other than that it's really easy to go through your library on the kindle and it saves your progress so you can just pick up where you left off. It's a user friendly kindle nothing complicated.
On the back it's just amazon logo. Nothing special here. On the bottom it has the power button and as well as the socket for the usb cable.
Now to the things I wish it had.. If the size was a bit bigger that would be more comfy but for some it may be just not so practical. I just would prefer that because when it comes to pdf files you need a bigger screen for sure.
The screen has no background lighting, and that makes it hard/impossible to read at night. So it's only perfect with some source of light around.
There's a newer version of kindle with incorporated lighting called Amazon Kindle Voyage. So if I decide to upgrade my kindle I'll go for it. But for a budget version this kindle I just reviewed is great.
Now I'm off to some good reading. ✌👋

Butter Cake!
When I have trips with Pegasus Airlines, I always go for their vanilla cake. They make it just the way I like it. Soft, fluffy, yellow and moist. And I can't find many that makes a simple vanilla cake that way. I had to find how to get my hands on the recipe. I searched for vanilla cake recipes and it was hard to come by one that looked like the one I wanted. So, I changed the way I looked it up after coming across a butter cake recipe. It was a simple cake recipe with vanilla and butter flavor.
This butter cake (⬅️recipe linked here)recipe was simple and seemed perfect and I tried it out with success! I work out, try to eat well, and not go over the board with sugar and all since I have a sweet tooth. Butt this is exceptional. Try it and you won't regret! 😁
It turned out yellow, soft and fluffy! Yum 😊
So, here it goes..
I've written the blog in Turkish so far but doesn't feel like I deliver what I wanna say quite as I want to. So, I've decided to write it in English. Everything I do online has been in English for many years now and I've just been consumed by English. It feels more easy and comfortable to write in English as well. Since I think react mainly in English since I spend a lot of time on my pc, I can't really deliver what I wanna say in Turkish. That didn't feel quite right.
Here's to new beginnings 🐱
